Bio

I have been interested in genealogy research since I was in my early teens when my older brother, who was researching my father's family, would take me with him to libraries, courthouses and cemeteries. I am amazed by how much the internet has changed and sped up the process...remember getting dizzy from scrolling microfilm? But, cemeteries continue to be a very vital part of research and without a site such as this, much of this aspect of family history would be missed or lost. Thanks FindAGrave and it's volunteers!

I am currently concentrating my research on my mother's family from N.Y., New Jersey area and many of whom immigrated from Ireland, England, Scotland and perhaps Germany. These family names are Lines (or Lyons), England, McKenzie (or variations of that spelling), Boyce and Earl. If you have any information on these or have same surnames you are researching in the Northeast with these surnames, feel free to send me an email.
