Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah P. Hicks, 80, of Redland, were held at 1:30 pm Monday in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Earl McIntyre officiated and burial was at the Walker Cemetery.
Mrs Hicks died Saturday after a long illness. She was born in Redland July 12, 1885, and had resided there all of her life. She was a member of the Redland Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, W. J. (Jeffie) Hicks; son, Melville Hicks of Wichita Falls; brothers, Ross Perkins and Loy Perkins, both of Lufkin; sisters, Mrs. Wilma Stein of Houston and Mrs. Flora Fenley of Lufkin; 2 grandchildren.
