COOKEVILLE – Funeral services for Pearl Stewart Bandy, 89, of Cookeville will be today, July 5, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home, with Bro. Clarence DeLoach officiating and burial in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Bandy died Friday (July 3, 1987) in her home.
The daughter of the late Jesse Mitchell and Delia Dyer Stewart, she was a native of Putnam County. Mrs. Bandy was a homemaker, and a member of the Willow Avenue Church of Christ.
Her family includes four daughters, Nellie Lemons, Dorothy Dowell, and Elsie Thrasher, all of Cookeville, and Ellie Lemons, of Pigeon Forge; four grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren, and one greatgreatgrandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Estes Bandy.
