Janelle "Nell" (née Taylor) Sarratt, a native of Gaffney, was the widow of John Chadwick Sarratt and daughter of the late Samuel L. Taylor and Lillian (née Service) Taylor. Nell was a member of First Baptist Church and of the Widow's Club.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Sarratt was preceded in death by a brother, Robert H. Taylor, and sisters, Ione Taylor, Iola T. Bobbitt and Montez T. Harmon.
Nell's maternal grandparents were Robert Forest Service and Lula Love (née Barnhill) Service. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Huckaby Taylor and Josephine T. (née Black) Taylor.
