---The funeral services for Mrs. Mary Catherine Rolison were held yesterday afternoon at the Christian Church, conducted by Rev. J.L. Shoemaker pastor of the church.
---Mrs. Rolison had been in failing health for the past few months but was up and around and came to her breakfast the morning before she died. At the time of her death she was past seventy-four years of age.
---Mrs. Nancy Catherine Davis Rolison was born in Macon County, Missouri on November 18, 1852, died at the home of her son, Elmer, in La Plata, May 17, 1926.
---She was the daughter of Andrew J. and Jemima Davis and was married to William A. Rolison on April 9, 1873 who preceded her in death eighteen years ago. To them four children were born, Cooley, Elmer, Toney and Mrs. John Lane, all surviving and living near La Plata; one brother, George A. Davis of Longmont, Colorado, is unable to be here. Two grandchildren, Clifford M. Rolison and Oma Faye Lane, survive her.
---She spent most of her life on a farm two miles north of La Plata and moved to La Plata about fifteen years ago, and with the exception of six years that she lived with her daughter, Mrs. Lane, has made La Plata her home.
---She joined the Christian Church at La Plata a great many years ago and she lived a faithful member to the end.
