---Funeral services for J.C. Rolison who died Thursday night, was held at the Christian Church here Saturday afternoon at 2:00 conducted by Rev. J.L. Shoemaker of Shelbina. Burial was made in La Plata cemetery.
---Jesse Cooley Rolison, son of Mary Catherine and William Rolison, was born near La Plata on October 16, 1874 and died December 11, 1941, being at the time of his death sixty-seven years, one month and twenty-five days of age.
---On October 29, 1911 he was united in marriage to Maude Smith.
---Those who survive him are the devoted wife, two step-children, Mrs. Ralph Coleman and Ora Smith, both of La Plata; two brothers, Elmer A. Rolison of La Plata and Toney Rolison of Chillicothe and one sister, Mrs. John Lane of Ft. Madison, Iowa.
---With the exception of twelve years in Kellogg, Idaho, his entire life has been spent near La Plata.
