COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Inez Deweese, 82, will be held at 10 a.m. on Sat., April 9, from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:30-9
p.m. today, Fri., April 8, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Deweese died on Wed., April 6, 2005, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born on Dec. 8, 1922, in Putnam County to the late Esker and Fannie Heron Ashburn. Mrs. Deweese was a homemaker and attended Ozion Baptist Church.
Her family includes her husband, Albert Deweese of Cookeville; a daughter and soninlaw, Sue and Larry Jones of Cookeville; a brother and sisterinlaw, Kenneth and Jo Ashburn of Baxter; and three sisters and a brotherinlaw,
Reba Goff, and Pearl and William Nash, all of Baxter, and Ruth Sherrell of Cookeville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lallie Vinson and Lorene Allision.
