BAXTER –Funeral services for Lillie M. Ashburn Vinson, 43, were held Sunday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home, with Bro. Frank Davis and Bro. John Davis officiating. Burial was in the Dobbs Cemetery.
Mrs. Vinson, a Putnam County native, died Friday, Sept. 26, 1980, in Cookeville General Hospital.
She was the daughter of Mrs. Fannie Ashburn and the late Esker Ashburn. She was an employee of Tutco, Inc., and lived at Rt. 1, Baxter.
Survivors include her husband, Dallas Vinson, Baxter, her mother, Mrs. Fannie Ashburn; Baxter, a brother, Kenneth Ashburn, Baxter; five sisters, Inez Deweese, Michigan, and Lorene Allison, Reba Goff, Jessie Pearl Nash, and Ruth Sherrell, all of Baxter; and one granddaughter, Misty Kay Vinson.
