My great-aunt, Sarah Eunice Muse Kibler, was the youngest child of Rev. Joseph Brainerd Muse and Nina Essie (née Devlin) Muse, Sarah was born on the 25th day of August 1891 in Verdery, Greenwood County, SC. She was the sister of Lois A. Muse Kerr (1873-1942), Coral Annie Muse Lyon (1876-1955), Janie Muse Smith (1876-1963), Minnie M. Muse (1879-1960), Robert Lowry Muse (1881-1911), Mary Devlin Muse Elvington (1887-1915) and Joseph Pressly Muse (1888-1968){my grandfather}.

Sarah Eunice Muse married Charles Pinckney Kibler, son of John D. A. Kibler and Harriet Drafts Kibler of Newberry, South Carolina, at Cedar Springs A.R.P. Church on May 11, 1911. Sarah and Charles moved to Columbia, SC where Charles was a medical student. Sadly, Sarah died just ten days before her twentieth birthday, due to an accident at her parent's home on August 15, 1911. She is buried in the Muse Family plot at Cedar Springs, beside her brother, Robert Lowry Muse (1881-1911).
