Vilas "Buck" Stannard, 54-year-old resident of Route 2, Springville died suddenly at 3:30 p.m. while at work at Sarkes Tarzian.
Mr. Stannard was born May 8, 1908 to Gus Bob and Ethel Linthicum Stannard. He married, Rosella Greer on September 10, 1929 and she survives.
Also surviving are the parents; two sons, Joseph H. and Rex Wayne; one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Karen Sue) Lake; two grandchildren and one sister, Miss Janna Stannard.
A daughter died in infancy.
Burial will be in the Springville Methodist Cemetery.
