Ethel Stannard, 100, of Springville, died Sunday at the Southside Health Care Center in Indianapolis.
She was born October 3, 1882, in Monroe County, to David M. and Nancy Reed Linthicum. She was married to Gus Bob Stannard on February 17, 1906, and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Janna Stannard; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jannie Aldreidge, Texas. She was preceded in death by one son, two sisters and six brothers. Burial will be in Springville Methodist Cemetery.
