Gus Bob Stannard, 81, of R. 2, Springville, died at Bloomington Hospital, where he had been admitted only a few hours earlier. He was a life long resident of Springville.
He was born, April 28, 1886 to J. Park and Lydia (Tincher) Stannard. He married Ethel Linthicum on Fenruary 17, 1906 and she survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Janna Stannard of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Joe Stannard, Rex Stannard, Mrs. Karen Lake; three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Methodist Cemetery in Springville.
