John W. Graham, 82, of Puposky, died at the Bemidji Hospital Saturday. He was born at Chippewa Falls, Wis., Oct. 5, 1887, and moved to the Puposky area in 1928. His marriage to Gertrude Strand took place at Puposky Nov. 19, 1929.
Survivors include four sons, Leonard of LaCrosse, Wis., Eugene, Eau Claire, Wis., Leroy of Puposky, a foster son Norman Christiansen, Flandreau, S. D.; two daughters, Mrs. Carl Peterson (Anna) in California, a foster daughter, Mrs. Edna Olson, Minneapolis; 21 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Art Keisow, Bloomer, Wis. He was predeceased by his wife in 1943 and a son, Russell.
Funeral services will be held at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, Puposky, Wednesday at 3 p.m. The Rev. T. J. Weltzin will officiate with burial in the church cemetery under the direction of the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home.
