Nathaniel Andes, 84, of Maroa died 9:41 p.m. Monday (May 4, 1981) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Maroa, with visitation after 5 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Maroa Cemetery.
Mr. Andes was born in Victor, KY., son of George and Effie Elizabeth Andes. He married Leota Sturgeon on Feb. 1, 1917, in Decatur. She died in 1976.
Mr. Andes was a retired farmer, former Maroa-Forsyth school bus driver and a member of the Maroa Bible Church.
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Delores) West of Indianapolis, IN.; brothers, Harry of Clinton; George of Sacramento, CA.; Earl of Mackinaw; sisters, Edna Speal of Maroa; Faye Beckman of Quincy; Lucille Noland of Macon; Cecile Towson of Flagler Beach, FL.; three grandchildren.
