Funeral services for George W.Andes of Macon who died Saturday morning in the Decatur and Macon county hospital, following an illness of short duration was conducted Monday afternoon in the Macon Methodist church. Burial was in Macon cemetery.
George Andes was born near Mershon, Ky, Feb. 14,1874. On Dec. 25, 1984 he was married to Effie Gaines of Mershon.
Mr.Andes leaves his wife and the following children, Nathanial Andes of Illiopolis, Harry Andes of Litchfield,Walter and Earl Andes of Macon,George Andes of Macon, Lucille,Faye and Cecil Andes of Decatur and Miss Edna Andes.
