Harry Andes was born in Mershon, Ky.; the son of George Washington and Effie Elizabeth Gaines Andes. Married (1) Gwendoline Hedger -March 21, 1918-she died 1954 (2) Cuba Welch Bell- survives.
Survivors:five sons, George, Harry,Jr, Richard, Donald, and Larry; two daughers, Marjorie Swartz and Beverly Baker; two brothers, George and Earl; four sisters, Edna Speasl, Faye Beckman and Lucille Norland and Cecile Konoposek; twenty grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
