"Arch Nelms, 72, retired linesman for Oklahoma Gas & Electric Co., died recently in St. Anthony hospital, Oklahoma City after a sudden illness. He came here before statehood and had lived in Oklahoma City the past seven years.
Services and burial were in Memorial Park, Oklahoma City.
His wife, Era, 426 E St., SE, and a son, Charles, Los Angeles, Calif., survive. The son arrived Saturday in Ardmore and will be with his mother here for several days before returning to California in about a week."
