"DEATH OF MRS. NELMS.
Former Ardmore Lady Dies at Chickasha – Bring Remains Here.
The many friends of Mrs. Alice J. Nelms will learn with regret of her sudden death at Chickasha Saturday morning after a few days’ illness. Mrs. Nelms formerly lived in this city. She is survived by three children, Mrs. P. T. Skidmore of Fort Worth, Texas; Mrs. Sid Underwood of Tishomingo and Arch D. Nelms of this city, who were at her bedside when the end came.
The remains will be brought to this city and carried to the home of her son, Arch D. Nelms, 426 E street, S. W. Funeral services will be held at the Carter Avenue Methodist church this (Sunday) afternoon at 3 o’clock, conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. T. Freeman."

"BODY TAKEN TO ARDMORE.
The body of Mrs. Alice Nelms, who died at her residence, 622 Kansas avenue, Saturday, was shipped Saturday night to Ardmore for interment. Mrs. Sid Underwood of Ardmore, a daughter, who had been summoned to Chickasha by wire a few hours before her mother’s death, accompanied the body."
