Mildred F. Bennett, 85, of Senatobia, died Saturday, April 9 at North Oak Regional Medical Center in Senatobia. Mrs. Bennett was a retired production worker and a member of Highland Baptist Church in Senatobia. Services were Monday, April 11 at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia with interment in Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia. Pallbearers were Sid Johnson, Ernie Brents, Jeremy Bennett, Michael Bennett, Mark Pearl, and Jim Wood. Doug Christy and Dr. John Flowers officiated.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bennett. She is survived by two daughters, Patsy Mahan of Olive Branch and Cathy Jane Bennett of Canton, Miss.; two sons, Thomas Franklin Bennett, Jr., of Memphis, and Billy W. Bennett of Senatobia; one sister, Laura Dixon of Senatobia; four brothers, Charles Thomas of Wallace, S.C., Lewis Thomas of Coldwater, Hugh Thomas of Germantown, Tenn., and Leroy Thomas of Arkabutla; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The stone is engraved as Mildred T. (stands for her maiden name of Thomas) Bennett whereas the obit has her as Mildred F. Bennett.
