Roy Deakin and Lee Deakin received word on Feb.8 of the death of their sister, Mrs. Josephine Leet of Pompana Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Leet was a graduate of Cuba High School and lived in Chicago 35 years before moving to Florida five years ago. She was born Dec. 28, 1896, in Cuba, a daughter of Justus and Alice (Henderson) Deakin. She married William Leet, who preceded her in death on March 3, 1966.
She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Mae Laughery of Canton and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Feb. 11 in Baird-Case Funeral Home, Pompano Beach. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery.
