Jennie Little was born 4 Aug 1857 in Froghall Kingsley Holt, Kingsley, Staffordshire, England to William Little and Elizabeth Caswell. She was one of eight children of William and Elizabeth Little.

Jennie married three times during her life. The first being to Thomas Perrins, whom she married 22 Mar 1875 in Kingston, Luzerne, Pennsylvania. They had one son, Thomas David Perrins, 25 Dec 1875. They divorced and she married Thomas James, 22 Apr 1880. They had 5 sons and 1 daughter: William Reese James, 25 Sep 1881; Fredrick Spencer James, 30 Oct 1883; Eli James, 12 Oct 1885; Albert James, 5 Jun 1887; Lizzie Mable James, 4 Jul 1889; Walter Little James, 30 May 1891. Following the death of Thomas, her second husband, she married Alma Keyes, 6 Nov 1895. She had 3 children with Alma: Harry Keyes, 12 Aug 1896; Eveline Jennie Keyes, 3 Oct 1898 and Theodore McKinley Keyes, 6 Nov 1900.

Jennie died 12 Mar 1916 in Uintah, Utah, two years before Alma Keyes died.
