Mr. Worden leaves his widow, eight children, twenty-three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sons and daughters are Alvin R. Worden of Walden; William, Elwood and Andrew J. Worden of Middletown; Mrs. Emma C. Osterhoudt of Alligerville; Mrs. Mamie Cooper of Middletown; Frank K. Worden of Ridgebury and Mrs. Dorothy Turner of Middletown.
Born May thirtieth, 1862, in Greenfield, N.Y., a son of John and Catherine Devoe Worden, Mr. Worden married Jospehine Donnelly at Phillipsport, October twenty-seventh, 1887. They had resided in Middletown for twenty-three years.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at two in the Cornelius Chapel here by the Rev. John M. Price of Ridgebury. Burial will be at Phillipsport.
