Born in Summitville Sept. 11, 1898, he was the son of Andrew D. and Josephine Donnelly Worden. He married Delia Crawford who died July 22, 1960.
He was a member of the Howells Fire Company.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William Andrew of Howells; one son, John of Howells; three grandchildren; two brothers, Frank and Elwood Worden of Middletown; one sister, Mrs. Floyd Turner of High Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will b from the Ralston Funeral Home, Middletown, with the Rev. Ferdinand A. Kurz of the North Congregational Church officiating.
Burial will be in Howells Cemetery.
