Funeral services were held last week in Glendale, CALIFORNIA, for Malinda PETERS of Arcadia, CALIFORNIA, who passed away on May 12, at Sierra Madre Hospital, Sierra Madre, CALIFORNIA, after suffering a heart attack.
Following the death of her husband on 20 Dec 1941, she moved to Arcadia, CALIFORNIA, where she resided until her death.
Her son, Willard, who passed away September 27, 1959.

Malinda PETERS was born February 5, 1885 at Hallam, (The farm 2 miles south in Gage County) Nebraska, the daughter of Gerd and "Maggie" (Dey) Albers. She was married to Charles J. Peters on May 3, 1903, at Hallam, Nebraska. They moved to Holyoke in 1916, where Mr. Peters was a blacksmith for 25 years.
She is survived by two sons, Gil, Denver, and Everett, Los Angeles, California; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Young, Arcadia, CALIFORNIA and Mrs. Luella Christensen, Santa Barbara, California; three grandsons, Richard Young, Arcadia, CALIFORNIA, Scott PETERS, Flushing, New York, and Gilbert Ray PETERS, La Candada, California; a granddaughter, Merrille Joy, Glendora, CALIFORNIA, and six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Peters will be laid to rest beside her husband in Forrest Lawn cemetery, Glendale.
