She was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerd Albers of Cortland, Nebraska. On February 8, 1899, she was united in marriage to Henry Adam Flaker. To this union three children were born, Ervin H., Minerva Pearl, and Fern Margaret, who preceded her in death about four years ago.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband and two children, three brothers, George Albers of Haxtun, Colorado, Fernando Albers of Riverton, Nebraska and Arnold Albers of Denver, Colorado and seven sisters, Emma Von Busch of Pine City, Minnesota, Mary Hansel of Gladsby, Albert, Canada, Malinda Peters of Holyoke, Colorado, Ada Koerner of Paoli, Colorado, Millie Schneider of Princeton, Nebraska, Callie Hile of Hallam, Nebraska and Nellie Wells of Paoli, Colorado and many other relatives and friends.
She was a very loyal member of the Methodist church of Paoli, ever ready and willing to do her best for the Lord. She was a patient sufferer and from the time that she was unable to attend church she enjoyed many blessings in her home by radio sermons and hymns. The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon March 2 in the Paoli M.E. Church. Interment was at the Posegate Cemetery near Paoli.
