MRS. PETERSON CALLED TO HEAVENLY REST
Mrs. O. P. Peterson passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Oscar Freeman in Essex, last night, Thursday, December 12, 1929, at 8:30 o'clock. Death was attributed to old age. She had been ill for only a short time and the end came unexpectedly. She had lived in this county for a period of 78 years.
Sarah Peterson, was born in Sweden in December 9, 1844. She married Olof P. Peterson on april 20, 1866. She passed away at the age of 85 years and 4 days old. She was preceded in death by her husband who passed away in 1911 and also by two daughters, Mrs. August Strom, and Mrs. Frank Strom.
She leaves to mourn her departure, five sons and three daughters; C. H. Peterson, Wausa, Nebraska, Grover, Anton, John Albert, and William of Essex, Iowa; Mrs. Leonard Bloomquist and Mrs. August Skallberg of Wausa, Nebraska, and Mrs. Oscar Freeman of Essex, Iowa.
