Mrs. Emma Strom, wife of Frank Strom, passed away at her home in Fremont Township last Wednesday afternoon at 1:10 o’clock. Her death was the result of a lingering illness. Although ailing for years, her death came as a great shock to all her friends and relatives. The deceased was 47 years of age and had spent the majority of her life in this vicinity. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. O. P. Peterson, her husband, Frank Strom, one adopted son, Carl Strom, and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held from the home at 1:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon, then to the Fremont Mission church at 2 o’clock, Rev. Nelson officiated at the services and the remains were laid to rest in the Essex Cemetery.
