(1) BEULAH S TAYLOR 15 MAR 1918 IN HAWKINS COUNTY, TENNESSEE.

(2) ALICE VERDIE ANDERSON ON 27 MAR 1921 IN HAWKINS COUNTY, TENNESSEE. GOD BLESSED THIS MARRIAGE WITH THE FOLLOWING CHILDREN: MINNIE MAY, ELBERT DAVID, EUGENE, GARNIE L, MARY NELL, HERMAN E, VIRGINIA SARAH, BEATRICE, BETTY AND JAMES.

CHURCH HILL – Clyde Thacker, 74, of Route 1, Church Hill, died at his residence at 11:55 p.m. Sunday.

He was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors includes his widow, Mrs. Alice Anderson Thacker; five daughters: Mrs. Minnie Jenkins of Salem, Ind., Mrs. Mary Nell Rollins of Surgoinsville, Mrs. Betty Smith of Mooresburg, and Mrs. Virginia Whitaker and Mrs. Beatrice Gibson both of Church Hill; five sons: Herman Thacker and Ebb Thacker of Eidson, Tenn., Dave Thacker of Salem, Ind., Bob Thacker of Rogersville and James Thacker of Church Hill; one brother, Basal Thacker of Surgoinsville; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Johnson of Surgoinsville; and 19 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at the Piney Grove Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. R. L. McGee and Rev. Kyle Calhoun officiating. Burial will be in the Winegar Cemetery.

Joseph Rogers Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars will be in charge of the military honors at the grave. The family will receive friends at the Colboch-Price Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
