Mrs. Carrie E. Bryant, 85, Holton, died In Topeka hospital recently. She had been in a nursing home for 10 years. She was married to Ethan Bryant September 4, 1907 at Seneca. He died in 1967. The family lived in this area for a-number of years. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Valerie Shipman and Mrs. Cloma Edwards, both of Topeka, and Mrs. Mae Andrew, Emporia; two sons, Curtis Bryant, Rossville, and Glenn Bryant of Winchester; 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Mercer Funeral Home In Holton and burial was id the Fairview Cemetery, Goff, Ks.
Mr. Bryant was a brother of the late Mrs. Clyde Shields of Fairview.
