Funeral Services for Albert M. Rose, 70, of Four Oaks, Route 2 were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at Mill Creek Christian church near Bentonville by the Rev. John Langston of Four Oaks, Route 2. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Rose died in the Johnston County Hospital at Smithfield early Tuesday morning following a short illness..
Mr. Rose had been a member of the Mill Creek church for about 40 years and had been active in church and civic activities in Bentonville township for many years..
Surviving are two daughters Julia Rose and Mrs. Norman Westbrook of Four Oaks, Route 2; one sister, Mrs. Earnie Blackman of Benson, Route 2; four brothers, Ira W. Rose of Rocky Mount, A. Lee Rose of Newton Grove and Dr. Thurman H. Rose of San Francisco, Calif., and six grandchildren..
