Herbert Clifton Abbe, b. July 2, 1867, in Enfield, Conn.; d. in Utica, N.Y., April 18, 1902. Most of his life was spent in Hartford where he was a member of the firm Abbe and Durnall in the electrical business. He went to Utica about 1898 and entered the employ of the Utica Electric Light and Power Company. Married in Hartford about 1893, May Evers, who survived him with a son b. about 1895.
