The wife of D. O. Abbe of Windsor Locks died at her home Saturday [11 Jan 1896] evening after an illness of several weeks. For some time she had been delirious and a consultation of doctors was held Saturday afternoon, but without avail. Mr and Mrs Abbe are well known in the town, having been active in church and other good work. Mr Abbe and his family have the cordial sympathy of a large circle of friends. Mrs Abbe leaves three sons and a daughter.
