Jerry Tom Ledbetter, 77, died Sunday at the home of his daughter at Pine Acres near Columbus City where he had made his home the last year or so. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Old Union Church of Christ. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Carr Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Ledbetter grew up in Honeycomb Valley but lived most of his life on Gunters Mountain neat Grant. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Violet Fletcher Ledbetter; three sons, James of East Chicago, Max of Scottsboro 3, Rex of Guntersville 2; three daughters Mrs. Olene McClung of Englewood, Calif., Mrs. Inez Parks of Scottsboro 3, and Mrs. Lucille Parks, of Grant 2; two brothers, Arthur Ledbetter and Watson Ledbetter of Grant 2; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Saint of Guntersville 2, and Mrs. Lee Anderton of Section and seven grandchildren.
