Porfie, of Cuarteles, was predeceased by her husband of 66 years Conce G. Fresquez Sr.; son David; parents; brothers; and other loved ones.
Porfie was survived by her children: Jake and Gloria Fresquez, Robert and Lucy Fresquez, Conce Jr. and Shirlee Fresquez, Theresa and Wray Ortiz, Benny and Arlene Fresquez, Cyndee Fresquez and Julie Fresquez, also Leoma Esquibel and Debra Borrego whom she considered daughters; grandchildren: Mark, Sandra, Jacob, Angela, Jason, Brian, Timothy, Margarita, Celina, Rebecca, Conce III, Matthew, Daniel, Wray Jr., Benito, Lucas, Elias, and 28 great-grandchildren; sisters: Adela Quintana, and Luisa Esquibel; brothers: Caraciolo and Alice Maestas, Joe and Martha Maestas; sisters-in-law: Nina Maestas, Lila Maestas and Zulema Harvey.
Porfie's legacy will forever go on by the devotion she had for God, her family and her church. Her favorite bible verse was John 14:2 – "In my Father's house are many Mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you".
A Devotional was held 20 October 2010 at El Buen Pastor in Ranchitos. Funeral services were held on 21 October 2010 at El Buen Pastor in Ranchitos. Burial followed at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
