Theazora "Grace" Moores Jan. 30, 1924 - Sept. 27, 2010.

Grace Johnson Moores, a native of Wallowa, passed away in Nampa, Idaho at the age of 86.

She was born to Grover and Zora Johnson at Wallowa and married Roy Wallace Moores in Payette, Idaho, in 1941. The couple raised three children. He preceded her in death in 1996. They lost their son Michael in 2007.

Mrs. Moores is survived by daughter and son -in-law Mary Ann and Phillip Anderson of Auburn, Wash., son Melville Moores of Portland, daughter-in-law Marilee Moores of Caldwell, Idaho, grandsons, Keith, Kevin and Kenneth Andersen and Jason Moores and granddaughter Aimee Trail, and three great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters.

She was also survived by brother Tom Johnson of Wallowa, sister Maybeth Wilson of Monroe, La., and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Wallowa Cemetery.
