According to GSMD, John Peterson was born ca. 1636, perhaps the son of Cornelius Peterson, and died between April 29, 1718 and March 16, 1719/20. April 29, 1718 is the date of his will and March 16, 1719/20 is the date his inventory was taken by John Wadsworth and Joshua Soul. His will was proved on August 1, 1720.
He probably died in Duxbury but there is no proof of the day or the place of his death.
He may have been buried in Standish Burial Ground or he may have been buried on the family farm but there is no record of his burial.
