WILLIAM EARL ANDERSON

William Earl Anderson, son of John and Louisa Anderson, was born October 26, 1888, in Harlan county, Nebraska, and passed away May 28, 1945, at Knoxville, Iowa, at the age of 56 years, 7 months and 2 days.

Surviving him are his two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mundell, of near Lucas, and Mrs. Louetta Mundell, of Lucas; two brothers, Wes Anderson, of Knoxville, and Elry Anderson, of St. Paul, Minn., and a number of nieces and nephews.

His parents, five sisters and two brothers have preceded him in death.

He enlisted in the army in World War I and served overseas for 11 months. He was given an honorable discharge at the close of the war and returned to his home in Chariton, Iowa.

About two years ago he moved to Knoxville with his brother, Wes, with whom he has made his home.

Funeral services were held at the Goshen church near Chariton on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. A. E. Beals, of Russell, and burial was in the Goshen cemetery.
