Elias Palmer Usher:
He moved with his father's family to Ohio, then a wilderness, in 1822, settled in Cuyahoga Co., and, in May 1827, he was married to Margaret Keeler. This union was blessed with five sons and two daughters. In 1858, they came to Wisconsin, where he resided until his death. For forty years he was an active worker in the Methodist Church, and personally helped to build two churches. He took great delight in the Sabbath-school work, and was Superintendent at the time of death.
