"Mrs. Iva Larson, wife of Henry Alfred Larson of Juniata Gap, died at her home at 7:45 o'clock this morning of a complication of diseases. She was born in Juniata gap on March 22, 1892, a daughter of Sherwood and Irene Burket [Burkhart] Maurer, and had resided there all her life. Surviving are her husband, one son and one daughter, Cleveland C. Carles of the city and Mrs. Helen E. Nye of Elizabethtown, Pa; her mother of Juniata gap, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Charles Hyouas [Youhas] and Mrs. Alice Holton of Juniata, Harold M. Maurer of Airydale, Huntingdon county, Norman B., Raymond G., Leon W., Cecil W. and Kesler D. Mauer, all of Juniata gap. Mrs. Larson was a member of the Juniata Brethren church. The body may be viewed at the mother's home in Juniata Gap where funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. Interment will be made in the Mauer and Gwin cemetery, Juniata Gap."
