PAMPA - Mrs. Sallie B. Mathis, 87, of Conroe, died Friday in Houston.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with the Rev. J.B. Fowler, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Mathis was born in Jack County. She had lived in Pampa for 30 years prior to moving to Conroe in 1976.
She married Clayton Mathis in 1915 in Lieb. He died in 1970.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Orin McPhillips of Conroe; two sisters, Mary Jane Stout and Zela Matheson, both of Amarillo; a brother, Lex Board of Borger; 3 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
