James Dunn, Former Waseca Resident, Dies
Winona__ James Dunn,86 passed away Monday evening at the Watkins Home in Winona. He was born in Waseca to Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Dunn. He was a brakeman and later the yard man at the round house here. They moved to Winona in 1934 and he retired a few years ago. Mr. Dunn was member of the Masonic Lodge of Waseca and received a 50 year pin several years ago.
He is survived by his wife the former Julia Snyder, two daughters Mrs. Helen Warmath of Winona, Mrs. Melvin Welch of Morristown and one son Richard of Winona.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at Winona at the Congregational church and burial will be there.
He was preceded in death by a son James, who was killed during World War II.
