She was born on March 25, 1916 in Kelly, Kansas the daughter of Julius and Anna Schutz Berger. Maggie was a homemaker and a member of the St. Benedict Catholic Church in Bendena.
On February 12, 1936 she married Aloysius "Allie" Heinen in Kelly, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1972.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlene and husband Bud Schoenfeldt of Wathena, Kansas; son, Ronald and wife Terry of Everest, Kansas; three sisters, Elizabeth Schuetz of Atchison, Kansas, Florence Woodard of Denair, California and Marian Whitcraft of Wichita, Kansas; ten grandchildren; one step grandchild; twenty five great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents: two sons, John and Leroy Heinen; six brothers, Martin, Joe, Carl, Bill, Fritz and Frank Berger; four sisters, Barbara Wilhelm, Mary Berger, Anna Berger and Rosie Kimmi.
Funeral mass will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 18, 2010 at the St. Benedict Catholic Church in Bendena, Kansas with burial at the St. Benedict's Cemetery.
