Wife of John Barnes, m. Mar 2, 1886, Stark County. Died in Penn Twp.

Mrs. Elizabeth Barnes, 87, Camp Grove, passed away Monday at her
home. Elizabeth Meehan , daughter of Bernard and Anne Meehan,
was born March 9, 1861, in Tiskilwa. She was married to John Barnes on March 2, 1886 a t St. John's church in Bradford. Sh e was a member of St. Patrick's church in Camp Grove and the Altar and Rosary society.
Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her husband , seven brothers, a sister an d a daughter Anna .
Survivors are eight children, Mrs. Thomas Murphy, Bradford; Howard
Barnes, Camp Grove ; Bernard Barnes and Mrs. Frank Bogner, of
Wyoming; Mrs. Raymond Ryan, of Bradford; Mrs. Ralph Finnegan,
James Barnes, Wyoming ; Leonard Barnes, Camp Grove ; 37 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Funeral rites will be held at St. Patrick's church. Cam p Grove a t 9
a.m. Thursday. Fr. R. E. Gates will officiate. Buria l will be in the St.
John's cemetery, Bradford.
Friends may call at the residence any time. Rosary will be recited at
the home at 8 p.m. Wednesday. The body has been taken to Boucher
funeral home in Wyoming .
