Nannie was the daughter of Moses & Fannie Cheatham Grimes. She married Joseph Browder Miller, the son of James Henry Miller & Rebecca Lovelady Miller, on November 25, 1903 in Jessamine County, Kentucky.
They joined some of the other members of the Grimes family who moved from Jessamine County to Hamilton County, Ohio. The couple were the parents of John S. and Velma M. Grimes, both natives of Cincinnati. Mrs. Miller passed away from the effects of mitral insufficiency and edema, with a duration of several weeks, complicated by circulatory problems, with duration of three weeks.
