Fond du Lac Reporter, Jan. 23, 1981. Mrs. Isabel Bartell, 86, of Palm Springs, Calif., and Route 1, St. Cloud, died early today, Jan. 23, 1981, at a Palm Springs Hospital of an apparent heart attack. She was born Dec. 7, 1894, at St. Cloud, a daughter of the late Valentine and Rose Schrage Baus. On April 4, 1921, she was married to Frank G. Bartell at St. Cloud. The couple lived in the Town of Forest, retiring and spending winters in Palm Springs, Calif. Mrs. Bartell was a member of St. Cloud Catholic Church and Christian Mother’s Society. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edward J. (Gladys) Wagner of Route 1, St. Cloud; a son, Robert P. of Bel-Air, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and two brothers, Alfred Baus of Tucson, Ariz., and Dr. Val Baus of Kiel. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1976, and by a son, two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services are tentatively set for Tuesday morning at St. Cloud. Huss Funeral Home, St. Cloud, is in charge of arrangements.
