Mrs. Trial died at 2:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at Ozarks Medical Center. She was born Mrch 23, 1923, at Dora, MO, to Henry and Cora Owen Smith.
On April 4, 1940, she was married at West Plains, MO, to Elmer Trail who preceded her in death on March 20, 1974. Mrs. Trail attended the Ball Church of Christ, Dora, MO.
She is survived by three children, Elsie Marie Kosemund of West Plains, MO, Walter Lee Trail of Albuquerque, NM, and Thomas Ray Trail, wife, Paulette, Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, Rita Smith and husband Bob, Valdean Kosemund and partner Shaun, Scott Kosemund, Michael Trail and Elizabeth Trail; seven great-grandchildren, Bradley Kosemund and wife Andrea, Isom Roberts, Jasmine Robets, Andrew Smith, Ariella Smith, Trinity Trail and Adam Smith; one brother, Henry Smith and wife, Betty, Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Dolly Rieger, husband, Wayne, of Dora, MO, and Alta Newberry, husband, Ben, of West Plains, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her parents, husband, three sisters and four brothers precede her in death.
Burial was at Ball Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Ball Cemetery and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
