Memorial service for Mildred Moody Kelley, 94, of Paradise was to be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at the First Baptist Church of Paradise. The Rev. Matt Edwards and the Rev. Robert Owensby were to officiate. Burial was to follow at Paradise Cemetery.
Kelley died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, in North Richland Hills.
Born March 17, 1912, in Paradise to W.H. and Lou Coffee Moody, she was a devoted homemaker. She served alongside her husband Henry in school, church and civic activities in Paradise. She was recently recognized as the longest continuous member of the First Baptist Church of Paradise.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Henry Kelley.
She is survived by a son, Richard Kelley and wife, Patsy, of North Richland Hills; a daughter, Mary Lou Urban and husband, Harvey, of North Richland Hills; grandchildren, Russell and Bryana Kelley, Kim and Olin Harrington, Lori and William Howard McDowell, and Kelli and Rich Bahner; great-grandchildren, Marshall, Zane, Chandler, Kaylie, Bella, Legacy, Raylen and Sterling; a brother-in-law, C.F. Kelley and wife, Edith, of Richland Hills; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were to be Russell and Marshall Kelley, Olin and Zane Harrington, William Howard McDowell and Rich Bahner.
