Sievert Langelie[sic], a well-known resident of Blooming Grove township, passed away at the home of Mrs. C. L. Larson, 918 South State street, Monday morning at about 11:30 o'clock. He suffered an attack of the flu two years ago which left him in such a weakened condition that he went to Walker where he was in the hospital for treatment a little over a year. He returned last fall greatly improved in health and has since made his home with Mrs. Larson. However, he suffered another attack of the flu this spring which resulted in his death. His sister, Mrs. T. K. Alland of Minneapolis was here to assist in caring for him during his last illness.

The deceased was a son of the late Jann Langelie, who passed away a year ago. He was born in Blooming Grove township 47 years ago. He had always been engaged in farm work. Surviving the deceased are four brothers and three sisters: Albert Langelie of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. T. K. Alland of Minneapolis; Mrs. A. T. Johnson of Duluth; Sieger Langelie of New Richland; Tom Langelie of Minneapolis; Mrs. P. H. Jacobson of New Richland and Henry Langelie of Ellendale.

The remains were taken out to the P. H. Jacobson home of New Richland where the funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at one o'clock and at two o'clock from the Le Sueur church. Interment was made in the family lot in the Le Sueur cemetery.
