Esther Hawkins, 77, of Glezen, died Wednesday, Sept 14, 1966 in the Daviess County Hospital, Washington. Mrs. Hawkins was born Feb 14, 1889 in Crawford County, Indiana, the daughter of William & Jupheena (Barmore) Kendall. She was twice married. Both William Ingle and Willard Hawkins preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Orval Ingle of Evansville, Granville Hawkins of R. R. 5, Petersburg, and John Hawkins of R. R. 1, Petersburg; one daughter, Mrs. Paul McGillem of R. R. 4, Petersburg'; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Hubert Kendall of Independence, MO; James of Amarilla, Texas; Delbert Kendall of Anaconda, Mont. and Alma S. Kendall of Glenna, MO.
Funeral services were held in the Harris Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept 17 with Elder Chester Medcalf, assisted by Brother Maurice Thompson officiating. Burial was in Loveless Cemetery.
