MARK
Frank Edward Mark was born May 6, 1944 to Vernon and Catherine Mark in Boone County, Mo., and died May 1, 1976 in Marion County, Ia.
He was reared in Lucas County, Ia., and attended grade school at Lucas, graduating from Chariton High School with the class of 1962.
Frank was united in marriage to Judy Peterson May 23, 1965 in the Chariton Christian Church. To this marriage were born two daughters: Annette Lynn, 10 years old, and Melissa Sue, 3 years old.
Frank's favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing and working on cars.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters of Chariton; his father and mother of New Virginia, Ia.; one sister, Jannette Mark of Osceola; a brother, Darrell and wife Roberta; and three other sisters-in-law, Margaret Mark, Mrs. Jerry Schugt and Mrs. John Ostrand, all of Des Moines; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Dan Haggard at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, at the Fielding Funeral Home. Interment was in the Chariton Cemetery.
